Where Is The Target Audience?

Target audience is important group to increase business revenue and save cost when push your business advertisements to the right person at the right place.

But, WHERE is the target audience?

The following contents will help you to learn how to allocate the target audience by location.

Usually this is my skill to set Facebook Advertisement in Fan Page and I found it’s worked just by some simple steps.

1) Type Google Trends at browser

Google Trends is a tool that allows you to compare the popularity of search terms and trends. With a number of different features, it allows you to gain an understanding of the hottest search trends of the moment along with those developing in popularity over time.

2) Type The Keyword At Search Bar

Type a keyword which is related with your post or the keyword is in your post.

For example, your business is LOSE WEIGHT PRODUCT and you can type lose weight as the keyword.

If your business is selling Smartphone, you can type in Iphone7S or Samsung Edge 7. Try use NARROW words instead of using IOS or ANDROID, Apple or Samsung. Type the product name is better than product brand.

3) Select The Country

As reminder, the topic is “WHERE IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE”, so just select the country that your business is able to deliver.

For example, your business base is in Malaysia, so try to start with Malaysia. Of course you can try surrounded country but make sure you able to deliver the product or service.

4) Select The Time Range

Google Trends recorded past 5 years the popularity of search terms and trends. But if you want to know the best location to boost your post, I strongly recommend just check past 12 months.

5) Check The Popularity Of Search

You can check the popularity of search within Malaysia and Past 12 Months.

6) Select Subregion Or City

You can select both of the choice depends on your need.

For my experience, there are 2 ways to choose the location:

Way (1) Choose Top 3 Locations

I will choose top 3 locations when the figure is 100,7x,6x.

That means first location is 100, second location is 70 something and third is 60 something.

Way (2) Choose Top 5 Locations

For the second way, I’ll choose top 5 locations if the figure is 100,9x,9x,8x,7x.

That means first location is around 100 or above, second location is 90 something, third location is 80-90 something, forth location is 80-90 something or 70-80 something, fifth location is 70-80 something.

Hey, this is my way to boost post in Facebook for my Malaysia clients, of course you can choose more locations if you want impression to get more followers with high budget.
